If you would like Yorkshire Ancestors to research your family history it would be  helpful  if you could supply the following information before we start the research:

Certificates you already own (birth, marriage and death)

Photographs - of people and places, used to illustrate your photo book

Family bible entries

Any other documents that you think may be of use to us.  You can send a copy of any of them if you would prefer to keep the original.

Who the person you would like to start the tree from (maybe yourself or your parents) and if you would like your children and grandchildren in

If there is any specific person or incident that you are particularly interested in

If there is anything you would like to discuss or would like clarifying please don't hesitate to contact us.  We would love to help you trace your family history and we specialise in the Leeds and district area.

Brenda started researching her family history in 1969 and has amassed a great deal of valuable information and research aids.   With her knowledge and collection of books, she created her Yorkshire Ancestors Research Library.

Katie, Brenda’s daughter, has been involved in research for 30 years as she was reluctantly dragged around graveyards and record offices from an early age!  She has finally succumbed to the fascinating world of researching our ancestors and their history.
